Established Roadway Striping Company is seeking Experienced Striping Operators to be based out of our Walker, Louisiana location. This position supports striping crew operations by controlling the functions of the striping equipment to lay paint or thermoplastic on the roadway. May also be required to load and unload trucks, delivery and pick-up of equipment and supplies as needed.

· Candidate must be able to work in limited and moving work zones exposed to motoring traffic traveling at high rates of speed.

· Designated work zones may include exposure to harsh weather elements

· Night-time work is required with the assistance of company’s external lighting

· Must have the ability to work nights and weekends, as scheduled.

· Candidate must be mechanically inclined and experienced with tools

· Candidate must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position due to heavy lifting as well as extensive standing and walking

· Must be able to adhere to safety standards to comply with company, local, city, state, and federal guidelines

Requirements:

· Candidates with CDL license preferred

· Must be available for occasional overnight travel

· Must be able to successfully pass a pre-hire drug screen and background check

Company will provide training to the right candidate including but not limited to product knowledge, safety requirements, paperwork and time keeping, contract requirements and company policies and procedures.

This is a full time (30 hours/week ) non-exempt position. Salary and Benefits commensurate with experience.
